Pepsi Transition Overview

PepsiCo Beverages

Install Schedule

Installs began Jan. 1, 2025, and will be completed by the end of August.
In most cases, coolers will be installed on a different day from your fountain equipment during normal business hours. Fountain installations will be scheduled for an early morning start to minimize overlap with your lunch business.

Pre-Install Confirmation Process

Franchise owners will be notified 30 days in advance of the install date, with several additional contacts by email prior to install. The franchise owner or designated point of contact must confirm the install date & time via phone or email survey to avoid postponement of the scheduled installation.

At least a week prior to install, provided that the owner or POC has confirmed readiness, IPC will coordinate the initial free case shipment of BIB products to your restaurant through your foodservice distributor.

Phone Calls will originate from 844-373-7473
Emails will originate from @pepsiequipmentservice.com

FAQs

When will my restaurant be converted to Pepsi equipment?

  • The schedule will be communicated 30 days in advance of your scheduled install.
  • Coolers may be delivered first, ahead of the fountain install.
  • PLEASE pay attention to your install confirmations to determine if it is for fountain or cooler.

What happens if I don't respond to the pre-install emails sent by Pepsiequipmentservice.com?

  • Your install will be postponed to later in the schedule, which will be communicated 30 days in advance of the new date.

What kind of equipment will I receive?

  • Pepsi equipment will be provided on loan at no charge to the franchisee. Equipment will be replaced "like for like" with current equipment - although there may be minor differences in size and style.

What if I want a different piece of equipment?

  • Pepsi is providing equipment similar to what is on site today. Any request for additional/different equipment will be considered at the end of the conversion period and will be based on minimum volume thresholds and business need.
FAQs

Will my ice machine be removed and reinstalled during Pepsi conversion install?

  • Yes. A Pepsi Install Team or Independent Ice Agent will be scheduled to remove and reinstall your existing ice equipment at no charge.

Will my ice machine be repaired or cleaned during the Pepsi conversion?

  • The Pepsi team will take note of icemaker condition prior to removal and ensure that the ice machine is returned to a similar state following the conversion.
  • Cleaning and repairs are not included as part of the icemaker uninstall/reinstall during conversion.

What should I do with my current equipment?

  • Pepsi will remove your existing equipment and dispose of it. A Subway representative must sign the installer's form in order to permit this removal.
  • If a Subway representative permits equipment removal and signs the post-install form, the equipment will be disposed of and can't be returned.
  • If you wish to keep your equipment and haven't used the "Opt Out" Form, you can inform the install team on the day of conversion.
