What is included in free service?

  • All service required to ensure that your equipment is operational and dispensing a quality beverage is provided free of charge, including labor and parts.
  • In addition, one Preventative Maintenance call is provided free of charge each year. This PM call is proactively scheduled by Pepsi without any action required by the franchise owner.

Are any service calls billed to the franchisee?

  • "Special Service Calls" are billable, including labor and parts.
    • "Special Service Calls" include equipment moves, seasonal start-up/shut-down, brand changes, nuisance/repetitive calls for issues that could be resolved by store personnel, service related to negligence or damage, service caused by ice machine or other equipment.
  • Response time for "Special Service Calls" varies according to the scope of work.
  • Equipment moves or uninstall/reinstall require 30 days advance notification.

Where can I find information about equipment cleaning procedures?

What is included in the annual Preventative Maintenance visit?

  • Pepsi technicians will check and calibrate all elements of your fountain beverage system.
  • Water Filter Cartridges for the Subway approved filter system will be replaced at no charge during this PM Visit.
New or Replacement Equipment

Pepsi-provided equipment is intended to last for the duration of the Subway agreement. Replacement equipment will be provided if:

  • Current equipment has experienced 3 "equipment down" events within 6 months.
  • Restaurant remodel requires new type of equipment to fit with building redesign.

Who do I contact if I need new or replacement equipment?

Additional Service Offered

Pepsi Service Advantage provides a "one stop shop" for customer owned beverage equipment with services including install, service and PM's for icemakers, tea brewers, bubblers and frozen beverage dispensers.

Are you opening a new restaurant?

Please provide at least 90 days lead-time to allow for new account set-up and equipment coordination.
